IDRE secures 82,500 sq ft letting at Stakehill Industrial Estate
IDRE has completed the letting of 82,500 sq ft at Electron on Stakehill Industrial Estate, Manchester, securing a long-term lease with Charles & Ivy, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of composite fencing and decorative panels. The agreement marks another major milestone in IDRE’s business plan, which has seen significant capital investment across Stakehill.
The Electron unit offers 8m clear height, four ground-level and two dock-level loading doors, a 1.35 MVA power supply, refurbished offices and two large yards. New roof works included engineering works to improve weight loading to allow for PV panels should they be required by the tenant, and excess land provides the option to expand on site.
Stakehill, sits at the heart of the Atom Valley Mayoral Development Zone, adjacent to the A627(M)/J20 M62, and provides over 800,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics accommodation across 60 units. The business plan continues to focus on repositioning individual units, improving estate wide energy performance, and enhancing operational efficiency, whilst improving on-site amenity.
