Unit 40 Stakehill Refurbished and Relet

IDRE has completed the refurbishment and reletting of Unit 40 at Stakehill, transforming a vacant industrial unit into high-quality accommodation for a new occupier.

The refurbishment included a comprehensive internal upgrade, improvements to the office and welfare facilities, and the installation of a new roof. ESG-focused enhancements, including energy-efficient heating and LED lighting, were also incorporated to improve the building's operational performance and reduce occupier running costs.

Polar Installations committed to a new lease while the refurbishment works were underway and took occupation immediately following completion.

The project demonstrates the continued demand for well-located, refurbished industrial accommodation. The letting achieved a new headline rent for the estate and highlights how proactive asset management can reduce vacancy, enhance asset value and create space that meets modern occupier requirements.

Following the success of Unit 40, Unit 8 at Stakehill was also let to United Canning Ltd shortly after its refurbishment was completed. IDRE worked closely with the incoming tenant to facilitate a smooth relocation, enabling business operations to continue with minimal disruption.
